ADVERB:
Definition: Adverbs modify, or tell us more about,
other words. Usually adverbs modify verbs, adjectives and other adverbs. It
tells us how, how often, when, where or
why something was done. As adjective
is to Noun so is Adverb to Verb.

In
sentence 1, ‘extremely’ is an adverb modifying or describing an adjective
‘Hot’.
In
Sentence 2, ‘there’ is an adverb describing the verb ‘will go’.
In
sentence 3, “very” is an adverb describing the adverb ‘slowly’.
